It is where two Long Beach residents and best friends, Stefan Enjem and Joe Farrier, would meet — literally climbing a ladder that bridged their backyards. Here they were free to explore new realms in the craft of cider. Realms that blended the finest of ingredients with a natural fermentation process to bring out distinct notes with elevated flavor.
It is where they proudly defied the conventional thought that cider must be sweet or sugary. Instead, Ficklewood ciders are dry and pure with a refined taste.
